    The ICC Accredited Desert Springs Cricket Ground with 18 grass wickets, constructed to ECB standards and specifications is open all year round. Complimented by a Marquee pavilion, sight-screens, scoreboard, and associated facilities, it provides an outstanding facility to both practice and play cricket. The Desert Springs Cricket Academy comprises an international size world-class quality grass pitch with twenty-four (24) grass wickets with nets and requisite training equipment.

    The excellent standard of the Cricket facilities, first-rate organisation and service have made it the preferred venue of a number of high profile Professional, National, International, School, College and University teams, both for pre and winter-season training camps and in the run-up to important matches and competitions.

    Visiting teams have included; The England Cricket Team for their 2015 Pre-Ashes Training Camp, the England ODI team for their 2017 ICC Champions Trophy Tournament training camp, as well as the England Women’s’ Senior Academy, the ECB Young Lions, the ECB Pace Programme and the ECB Lions squad.

    In addition, Desert Springs is host to a number of high profile first class Counties including; Lancashire, Surrey, Sussex, Leicestershire, Glamorgan, Middlesex, Somerset, Derbyshire and Yorkshire for pre and winter-season training camps.

    STRUCTURE AND INFRASTRUCTURE

    Designed by a registered professional, endorsed by his College of Architects, Technicians or Engineers as appropriate and guaranteed by a 10-year structural insurance policy with construction monitored by the independent Quality Controllers.

    WALLS, FLOORS AND ROOFS

    Reinforced concrete frame with insulated cavity walls finished externally with render painted in Desert Springs colours. Insulated flat roof construction finished with ceramic tiles. First quality ceramic floor tiles throughout.

    WINDOWS AND DOORS

    Low-maintenance vinyl coated and double glazed PVC doors and windows with thermic break, with toughened glass on the ground floor and opening shutters or traditional iron grilles in accordance with the approved Project of Work plans. Solid front doors fitted with a five-lever mortice deadlock, door viewer and bolts.

    LIVING ROOM

    Feature fireplace and breakfast bar. French doors to the veranda.

    KITCHENS

    There is a generous provision of conveniently located power points and switches throughout. The living room and bedrooms have a provision for TV and FM. Property specific broadband router will be installed. Bathrooms have shaver sockets and LED downlights over the basin and mirror. Externally, there are light fittings, bellpush and powerpoint.

    TEMPERATURE CONTROL

    Individually controlled hot/ cold air units will be installed to the living room and all both bedrooms.
